The launch of a dream: the Coloring My Way Across The Globe podcast

Greetings and Happy New Year 2024, my colorful friends across the planet!

What a joy it is to announce the launch of my latest passion project—the Coloring My Way Across The Globe podcast. This culture and travel based podcast is one which blends my greatest loves in life: color, art, travel, adventure, exploration, language learning, creative entrepreneurship, customs and culture. I found a place, a platform, a spot where I can discuss these engaging topics with you, my colorful friends.

Three episodes have already launched and are available on Spotify, Apple, Google, YouTube and almost any other podcast listening platform. You will find multiple links to access the podcast HERE.

Here’s a capsule description of the Coloring My Way Across The Globe podcast:

World traveler and color expert Lauren Battistini chronicles the most colorful people, places and experiences she encounters off the beaten path in her global travels. Tune in for a culturally immersive, adventurous and highly engaging journey each episode!

Coloring My Way Across The Globe took root as a hashtag on social media three years ago, in my earlier days of posting travel related content, my language learning journey in Greek, Portuguese and a continuation of Spanish—my fluent second language. I began using the hashtag particularly to categorize my travel based art illustrations, as well. Though I could envision this hashtag being an essential part of my brand strategy and something that could encapsulate all of my business interests, I hadn’t given much thought to hosting a podcast until the spring of 2023 while traveling abroad. Frankly, it seemed too gargantuan of an undertaking at the time, but I knew that the idea and concept were solid based on some preliminary research I had conducted.

I’m your host Lauren Battistini, professional color strategist, entrepreneur, language learner, traveler, artist and lover of culture, people and colloquialism. We’re here to color our way across the globe together, recounting stories of people, places and experiences off the beaten path. These are stories you won’t find in any travel guide. We’re focused on delivering a unique and color focused perspective. With such guests as artists, musicians, digital nomads, polyglots, photographers, color specialists, travel influencers, entrepreneurs and wine sommeliers, there’s something here for everyone interested in the world around them. Join me each episode as we color our way across the globe. Welcome, bienvenidos και καλὀς ἠρθατε. —Introduction from host and founder Lauren Battistini

Friends, this is much more than a simple podcast; it is a cultural experience. We are chronicling the stories and lives of the most colorful, intriguing and engaging guests I meet around the world! As podcast host, my role is to provide guests a platform to share their unique perspective and cultural wisdom with you, my listeners. My mission is to highlight various aspects of guests’ professional and creative lives, as well. People love to hear engaging stories, and I’m here to deliver and feature a varied, vastly knowledgeable group of podcast guests!

The myriad of guests I interview are people who share my enthusiasm for colorful, international, cultural, creative, exploratory, adventurous, and often entrepreneurial living. Their commentary and perspective will provide insights that you, friends—adventurous, colorful people yourselves—may not discover on your own, or at least not in any official tourist publication.
